Reunited and it feels so good!

Sunday morning I sat in my hostel room, eating my breakfast consisting of rolls, a hard boiled egg, 1 cheese, and coffee. Yum.

Then I heard a familiar voice in the lobby. I opened the door and was greeted with a humongous hug, followed by lots of screams and "oh my god"s. FINALLY, Sara and I were reunited again. This continued for about 10 minutes straight, so for those of you who told me to give her hugs, I got you covered. :)

We were too excited to feel our exhaustion so we began our adventures and headed out to the famous Egyptian Museum. We had to dodge the insanity that is Egyptian traffic but finally made it after a crafty game of frogger. The museum was beautiful. It is unbelievable how much valuable history they have in one building. We paid the extra money for the mummy room and got to see King Tut's relatives and King Ramses. I have to say, it was absolutely disgusting, but totally awesome. The mummies still had eyelashes and patches of hair. **shivers**

That evening we decided to take a Nile River Cruise. There was amazing food and entertainment. We both got called up to stage to perform with the belly dancer, which was quite the laugh (see Sara below).
And don't worry, there's video too. It was a beautiful evening out on the Nile and a perfect way to begin our trip together.
We both slept like a rock and prepared for our early morning to go see the Pyramids!
